\nIt is my pleasure to announce that our colleague Prof. Maria Luisa Di\nVona will receive the \u201cThermec Distinguished Award<\/strong>\u201d,\nduring the next THERMEC 2020 conference in Vienna, “for\noutstanding research in the area of hybrid and nano-materials for\nenergy and leadership in chemical nano-engineering education in\nEurope<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor of Chemistry at the University of Rome \u201cTor Vergata\u201d, Italy. Responsible of the Laboratory of Ionomer Materials for Energy at the Department of Industrial Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is principal investigator of several Research Projects (MIUR, EU FP7, HORIZON 2020) and Educational Projects (EU PostDoc Program, Industrial Engineering PhD program of Rome \u201cTor Vergata\u201d University, and PostDoc co-tutela Programs). Director of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree \u201cChemical Nano-engineering\u201d at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Prof. Di Vona was invited professor at the National Institute for Materials Science NIMS, Japan and at the University of Aix-Marseille, France. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2015 responsible of the International Laboratory \u201cLIME\u201d between University of Rome \u201cTor Vergata\u201d and Aix-Marseille University, France. Her main research area is the synthesis of organic-inorganic hybrid materials and nano-materials for energy (fuel cells, batteries\u2026), environmental and biomedical applications. She has published more than 160 articles in international journals and held numerous keynote and invited talks in international congresses. Prof. Di Vona is member of editorial boards of international journals, including Molecules and Frontiers in Energy Research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principal organizer of many international symposia and member of the organizing and scientific committees for different scientific societies. She is also a very active member of the THERMEC International Advisory Committee. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
