In the continuing effort for a larger internationalization of the activities of the PhD Programme in Industrial Engineering of the “Tor Vergata” University of Rome, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) in Guntur, in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh on the East Coast of the Indian sub-continent on the Gulf of Bengal.
The very large, long time reputed, ANU University enrols some 5.500 students studying in 39 departments and 450 affiliated colleges in the three southern districts of the booming State of Andhra Pradesh which is enjoying an annual double-digit GDP growth.
Besides the activities of collaboration in scientific and academical matters, an addendum to the agreement allows for the students at ANU to be enrolled as external students to the Industrial Engineering PhD Programme in “Tor Vergata” with specific agreements for tutoring the students by local professors.
